The chocolate brown Activator is our most popular, best-selling sandal! We can’t make these things fast enough; they fly right off the shelves! Dress them up or down with a pair of jeans, shorts, or a skirt. Wear them hiking, wear them to a festival. Versatile and comfortable!

The Activator sandal is built to support and protect your feet with lightness as though you are barefoot. The flexible Vibram sole will allow for extra range of motion while hiking, bouncing, twirling, disco dancing, running from alligators, taking a moonlit stroll through a creek, hopping, frolicking, playing twister, paddleboarding, running amok, and many other active pursuits.

The Activator sandal is designed with one lace that weaves between the leather base and the Vibram sole so it will never come undone or tear out. The fully adjustable lace creates a hammock that provides support for your arch as it wraps under and over your foot. The leather between your toes is not a thong, (It’s not! We swear!) but rather is resting on your toes, unnoticeable. The lace then crisscrosses behind the ankle to tie in a double knot. Before making the double knot, you can crisscross the laces so they gather around your ankle or so they wind up your leg. Because of our unique lace design and commitment to grounding, no toxic glue is used in the structure of the sandal (or in the base of any of our shoes!).

The ¼” Vibram sole is a plastic/rubber blend and one of the best sole options on the market. Vibram is extremely soft and flexible and designed to mimic a barefoot feeling when you walk. During your first adventure with your new Activator sandals, the Vibram sole will begin to mold to the shape of your foot for a natural-born, custom fit. On top of the Vibram sole, your foot is resting on soft and supple salvaged bull hide. (Can you think of anything better than that?)
