Our Indie boots are moccasins with an edge! We hand cut, hand punch, and then hand stitch a thick bullhide leather upper to a durable leather lined Vibram sole. Two D-rings and a top buckle set these moccasins apart from all others. They are comfortable, breathable, and ready for action! Function and funKtion. That's what we like!

This version has an added hand etched SEED OF LIFE pocket patch on each heel to hold your money, or pictures of your cat, crystals, rubber bands, or anything else you can think of sticking in there!

Here at Tread Light, you may find us or playing Hopscotch in these Moccasins. You might find them hiking, going to a music festival, or preparing to fight a giant fire-breathing dragon wearing these beauties. Our Indie moccasins / boots are very popular at Renaissance Festivals and the Steampunk crowd seems to fancy them, too! You dig?

The Vibram sole is a plastic/rubber blend and one of the best sole options on the market. Vibram is extremely soft and flexible and designed to mimic a barefoot feeling when you walk. During your first wear the Vibram sole will begin to mold to the shape of your foot for the ultimate in custom and comfortable wear.
