Our earthy woodland Leaf Purses are our own original design and so unique! This Purse fits right in at Renaissance & Music Festivals and then seamlessly transitions into your everyday life.

This large leaf Forest Purse is made from strong and beautiful chocolate brown salvaged bull hide. Measuring approximately 12.5 x 8.5 x 2.5 inches, it has plenty of room to carry everything you need: Smart phone, keys, camera, small notebook, wallet, iPad, Kindle, jelly beans, picture of your grandma, etc. We use the open width of the leather to create the large leaf flap. The leaves are hand-cut and the leaf veins are hand-etched. We leave a small opening on the smaller leaf to be used as a stash pocket. The purse is held securely closed with a magnetic snap.

The strap measures approximately 21- 23 inches from the top of your shoulder to the top of the purse. At this length, it easily rests against your hip, whether you like it over your shoulder or slung diagonally across your chest.

A lot of love is put into everything we create at Tread Light and each piece of work is its own unique piece of functional art. All of our leather is dyed*, and the color and texture of the leather varies throughout the hide. Please keep in mind that none of the purses we make will ever be exactly alike. The purse you receive will be similar to the purse shown in the photo. All the same materials and the same pattern will be used, the same technique will be applied to hand carve the leaf veins, but every one of them has its own unique look.

*The photo of the underside of the leaf is the most accurate leaf color. This green, for some reason, is hard to photograph. The photos of the bag alone were taken in the shade.

The TURNAROUND TIME is generally 2-3 weeks for our purses. If you need it sooner or for a certain event, please let us know before you purchase and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

OPTION: If you choose to add an inside pocket, it will be sewn to the back wall.

If you would like secret pockets with hand etching added, the cost is $25. Please message us and let us know what sort of pockets you need and where before purchasing and we will try to accommodate your request. We do have etchwork samples that we can send to prompt your imagination if you desire. :)
